January 16: My daughter is flying across the country today to go the Obama's Inauguration!! She'll be attending the concert at the Lincoln Memorial, visiting her mom's family home in Chevy Chase and old friends. Her Uncle is a longtime politico in the Democratic Party and did a lot of out of state stumping for Obama. So, he was given special inaugural tickets and Maya is filling in the third ticket on the junket. I can't wait to hear the stories when she returns. What an experience!
